Steps and things to consider before going live with your customers.

After completing your setup and testing Sessy you are ready to go live for end users. Below some key topics to think about before actually going live.

1. Purchase license

Purchase your Sessy license:

  • Go to the settings page
  • At the top of the page, click on “Upgrade license”
  • Click on “Purchase license”
  • Follow the instructions on the Stripe page and provide the requested payment details
  • After setting up your license, under “General settings”, your license status should show “Active”

2. Payment collection

Ensure that you have completed and tested your payment collection method. This is a critical step before signing up members because changing this later can be a lot of work. For more details go to Payment collection method settings →

3. Validate key settings

Validate that you have completed your setup of:

3. Delete test data

Remove test data you have created:

  • Go to the settings page
  • At the top of the page, click on “Delete test data”
  • In the popup menu, select which types of test data you want to remove

4. Check roles

Have you given anyone an Admin or Employee role that needs to be removed before going live? Do all your employees have the right role? For more details go to Roles →

5. Create weekly schedule

Set up the weekly schedule for the calendars you will be using. For more details go to Weekly schedule →

6. Schedule sessions

Use the weekly schedules to schedule sessions for the next week (or couple of weeks), so users can register for sessions immediately after subscribing. For more details go to Calendar →

7. Onboard members

Once your app is fully set up and ready for your members to join, communicate the link to the end user app and your business’ name to your (potential) members. Already have members that need to be migrated? Use the import tool in the settings before communicating to your members.

8. Payment collection

As a reminder; after your go-live and when using our app for payments processing (SEPA direct debit export), the app will calculate the amount to be paid by each member (subscription fees + other purchases). Make the export on a monthly basis and import the payment file into your banking environment. For more details go to Payments →
